Buchanan Featured Fishing Sites
Site #1:Dismal RiverDescription: This trout stream is stocked during the Virginia Game and Inland Fisheries regular schedule. There are small mouth bass, blue catfish and several other species caught along this river. Access Points: Several access points along State Route 638, Dismal River Road as well as a handicap ramp.

Site #2: Levisa RiverDescription: There is a wealth of small mouth bass and cat fish caught along this river Access Points: St. Rt. 460, Town of Grundy, Virginia and several along St. Rt. 83, Slate Creek.
